Police are investigating a deadly San Diego car accident that left one woman dead in San Marcos. The accident, involving two cars, happened yesterday afternoon. Authorities have not released details of the accident, only saying it happened on W. San Marcos Boulevard after 4 o’clock in the afternoon.

The victim’s identity has not been released.

Carlsbad Car Accident Kills 1

Police believe speed may be to blame for a Carlsbad car accident that killed one person. It happened Monday night at the intersections of  Calle Barcelona and Rancho Santa Fe Road.

Police say a Buick was allegedly speeding when the 33 year-old driver ran a red light, hitting a red Mustang as it prepared to make a left turn. Witnesses at the scene reportedly attempted CPR on the driver of the mustang until the firefighters and paramedics arrived to take over the live-saving procedures.  Unfortunately, the man could not be revived and the 20 year-old driver of the mustang died at the scene. Footage of the wreckage from Channel 10 News shows that his Mustang was ripped in half in the accident.

Man Killed in a DUI Accident in San Diego

Police are investigating a deadly San Diego car accident involving an alleged drunk driver. Officials say 29-year-old John Mathew Hajosy was killed early Sunday morning when the car he was driving was struck head-on by a wrong-way driver.

According to police, the impact of the accident sent Hajosy’s car over the center media of Route 94, forcing officials to close almost the entire highway in order to get to the victim. Hajosy died at the scene.

Four people were injured Monday night after a suspected drunk driver caused a three-car crash in Mission Valley. Among the injured, was a pregnant woman.

The chain-reaction collision happened in the 2400 block of Hotel Circle South just after 10pm.

According to San Diego police officers, the 43-year-old alleged drunk driver was driving a truck when it drifted across the roadway, striking a Nissan Versa head-on. A volvo then sideswiped the truck.

A 46-year-old man driving the Versa suffered a laceration to his hand and two passengers were also injured. A 50-year-old man who suffered fractures to his spine, leg and arm, and a 41-year-old pregnant woman who suffered broken ribs and fractured spine.
