Fatal Lakeside Car Crash Kills 1 Person, Injures 2

Police say a 21-year-old man was killed and two others injured when two cars collided head-on in Lakeside on Sunday night.
According to authorities, Harold Oliver Wise IV of Lakeside lost control of his Nissan and veered into oncoming lanes, where the sedan collided with a Jeep Wrangler. Police say the Nissan was traveling at least 80 mph at the time.
The crash reportedly left two people trapped in the damaged cars, one of which was in flames when authorities arrived on scene. A third person was able to get out without help.
Wise, who was wearing a seatbelt, died at the scene. The two other people were taken to the hospital with injuries.
