San Diego DUI arrests are always high during long holiday weekends, and this past Memorial Day weekend was no exception.
The California Highway Patrol say its officers arrested 55 suspected drunk drivers from Friday evening until early Monday morning. While the number of the arrests is high, authorities say it is three fewer than last Memorial Day weekend.
The CHP also reports there were no major San Diego car accidents over the long holiday weekend.
